In order to deliver the complete learning experience and maximize our students' benefits regardless of their geographical location, American College of Technology applies a comprehensive delivery method consisting of various components, such as live audio and video lectures.
Classes commence every 6 weeks allowing you to choose a convenient
time to start your education.
| The ACoT-eLearn environment is set up for students using their user name and password, to logon and utilize all the components of the classroom, such as participate in the audio lecture, review the study materials, send and receive messages, do their assignments, discuss study materials with their fellow students, take the online tests and communicate with their teachers. |
Class ScheduleClasses meet 3 days a week; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for a total of 7.5 hours a week. Students are expected to spend 15 hours a week per course, for study outside of class time. It is highly recommended to attend all live lectures; however, minimum attendance required is once a week. The instructor will explain the material and ask questions, students will be able to respond
using their microphone and home computer. Once the class is over, the lecture is recorded and posted on our site to allow students to listen to the lecture and review the material at any other time according to their schedule, and as many time as they need. |
In addition to our live lecture times, progress reports, and recorded lectures are all available online 24/7 through our eLearn platform. This allows you to get your education on the go on your own time.
Your Instructor is available outside of the virtual classroom. Instant message or e mail your instructor after hours and receive a response before your next class time. Getting your education on your time has never been more convenient!
-We are taking education a step further. Our programs are structured yet flexible, each course has a starting and an ending date
(6 weeks); A one week break is scheduled after every other course.
-Performance Evaluation: Students can check their performance and grading on
an ongoing basis using the ACOT eGrade and SAP system.
